Ben Rogers
Property Investor
Ben Rogers has been actively involved with property in the UK since the 1990’s.
From the purchase of his first property in 1992, he and his wife Linda have built up a healthy property portfolio in Kent.
In 2001 like many investors at the time he came across companies providing training courses on property investment and immersed himself in understanding strategies that worked well. Initially concentrating on buying run down properties that could be improved and re-financed for buy to let, or sold on for a profit, he has since utilized pretty much every strategy from new builds, HMO’s, flat conversions and sale & rent-backs.
Ben is the MD of Optimus Property Management Limited. The company was set up in 2002 and has three components:
- High street residential lettings agency – Looking after Landlords, their properties, and the tenants that live in them.
- Property sourcing – Finding below market value property investment opportunities and supplying them to armchair investors.
- Property education – Working with property investors, both new and experienced and helping them fine tune their property strategies.
